Squatting on the bank of the river, Archie offered one word of description for the wooden ship that was bearing down upon the Town of Grantham, “Trireme.” Sheriff Dance paid no attention to Archie. His eyes were locked on an imposing figure at the rail, who was looking down on the town and the people frolicking in the water. Even at a distance Dance could see that this man was not smiling.
Of all the things that could happen in this story, the potion working shocked me the most. My theory is that either the world they’re currently in gave the elixir magical properties, or the townfolks’ belief in the elixir allowed it to heal the girl.
Archie's last line was intentionally cut from the audio? Because it certainly doesn't sound like it fit the same mood as the sheriff's line and the music. And it sounds more like a beginning than an ending.
I wonder what strange things that captain must come across in his travels? Because he didn't seem to think that the town or the people looked strange enough that maybe he should investigate further before he lets loose. Oh, we should have seen the purple goblins riding cyborg ostriches that his father fought and wouldn't shut up about? And this was/is his chance to get out of that shade?
